Lala Costa is a Puerto Rican born playwright/actor/director and creator of Imagen Nominated, LalisimaTV, a sketch and web series channel.  She trained with Yale School of Drama MFA and Acting Faculty Member, Gregory Berger-Sobeck, at The Berg Studios.  While attending The Studios, she was encouraged by Berg to write her own monologues, and that she did.  Writing and creating her one woman show Calling Lala: A One-Woman-Broadway-Adjacent-Boricua Show.  The show was accepted into New York's United Solo Theatre Festival in 2016.  Later performed at Houston's Theater DeLuxe, and accepted into The Whitefire Theatre's Solofest 2017 and 2018.

Lala was later invited to join The Whitefire Theatre Company, where she has performed in Spring Shorts and Fall Shorts 2017:  A collection of 10 minute comedic plays.

 

She is the creator-actor-director of "Bad Cop Bad Cop," a new bilingual comedy series, that explores the Latinx culture and experience of living in Los Angeles.
